The basketball game was invented by American James Naismith in the 1891. At the time, he taught at the Springfield YMCA International Training School in Massachusetts. Because of the local peach-rich, the children here also like to play with the ball into the peach basket game. This inspired him to draw on the features of other ball games such as football and hockey, creating a basketball game.
The original basketball game is relatively simple, the size of the venue and the number of participants in the game is not limited. The players divided into equal numbers of the two teams, standing at both ends of the court, after the referee to the center of the ball, the two players immediately rushed into the game, and strive to throw into the other side of the basket. Because the peach basket is bottom, after the ball is left in the basket, the person must board a dedicated ladder to remove the ball from the basket.
